At first, I thought the stethoscope was defective because I couldn't hear anything. I called the company to make a complaint, but a very kind lady explained that I wasn't using it correctly. Specifically, the eartubes of the stethoscope should be curved backwards and I should rotate the chestpiece depending on the side I want to listen with. The stethoscope has no problem, I just didn't read the instructions because I thought it was like any other stethoscope I've used. I wrote this review to thank you and to apologize.
